Smaller wedding receptions can choose from any of our more secluded indoor dining rooms, while larger wedding parties are easily accommodated in our expansive Observatory with its stage for the band and ready-made dancefloor.
Our unique Georgian stable is also popular. With its original cobbled stone floor and hayracks, woodburning stove and private bar, and decorated with celebratory bunting and sparkling fairy lights, it’s the perfect romantic setting.
Your wedding will be tailored to your wishes because we’re no ordinary wedding venue. We can cater for the smallest wedding groups dining around one intimate table through to receptions for 80 making exclusive use of the whole pub. The age of our building does mean we don’t have one huge indoor space but depending on the size of your party, we have plenty of options for you to consider.
Your guests will be welcomed with your choice of drinks and canapés. Our ample car park is available to them at the back of the pub or you may wish to arrange group transport to add to the spirit of your special day.
Your wedding breakfast will be a delicious menu agreed between you and our head chef, Andrew, using only the freshest ingredients that are, wherever possible, locally sourced.
Your choice of entertainment has room to set up on our slightly raised stage in the courtyard or in the heart of our Observatory – the acoustic in there is just perfect!
