The White Hart of Wytham OX2 8QA

The White Hart of Wytham

The beautiful village of Wytham lies two miles North West of Oxford city centre. Take the Wolvercote road from the top of the Woodstock Road and just keep going.  You’ll have Port Meadow on your left as you go through Wolvercote, go over the bridge and past the ruins of Godstow Abbey and you are then less than a mile away. As you approach Wytham you’ll see Wytham woods in the distance.  Alternatively, if you are coming northbound on the A34, you’ll find a small slip road just after the Botley interchange, signposted to Wytham.

  1. A great occasion on Monday! We’re very grateful to you all for making this 80th birthday lunch such a success, with good food, private room, and attentive service – ideal.

  2. Wondering if you allow dogs? The White Hart used to be a favourite haunt of mine when I was young and I’d like to bring my son for his birthday, but we need a dog-friendly place! Thanks.

    • Hi Jenny, we are very much dog friendly! We have tables for you in our bar, conservatory and smaller dining room. And we always make birthdays extra special. Kind regards, Baz

  3. Thank you for making my son’s 30th birthday special. We enjoyed the food and friendly service. My husband was especially pleased with the recommended Spanish wine. We appreciated the atmosphere of the pub and having a little tour of Wytham following our meal. So nice to get out of Oxford for a change and explore the countryside on the outskirts.

    • Thank you for this, it is most appreciated. We are very pleased that we were able to make your occasion special – it’s exactly what we are here to do. Kind regards, Baz and all at The White Hart of Wytham
